People in 3 States Participated in Rise Up for Five Today

Today, September 3rd, was the first official day of Rise Up for Five. While it is hard to determine participation when participants are not located in one place, we know that people from at least three states participated. Most held up signs. Some waved American flags. Some played America the Beautiful on their boomboxes. One couple from Wisconsin sat on their “front steps and wrote a check to support the Los Amigos program through the St. Croix Valley Food Bank. The special area of concern for us is promoting and supporting the development of humane immigration policies.” See you outside tomorrow.
